Press Recap, Fela Gifts & More

Everyone’s been busy the last couple weeks getting ready for the holidays, so, in case you missed it, here’s a little bit of a recap of the great coverage FELA! has received in the press:

I could easily go on, but I’m sure you could use some extra time to perfect your figgy pudding and buy some last minute gifts (check below for some Fela-themed ideas!). Oh yeah, and don’t forget to send out a few Fela Kuti e-cards, courtesy of Knitting Factory Records!

Fela Navidad!

saw FELA friday night and cant wait to go again..
this is the best piece of musical theatre i've ever seen starting with the innovative (in its'
time) OKLAHOMA, and continuing on thru the next
50 years........the music is GREAT, the performances astonishing, the dance and choreography, the sets, lights, and costumes....
all of it raw, rare, and compelling......as a person who has spent a month in 9 different
african countries for a total of 15 visits, this
work truly evokes the spirit, the passion, the fierceness, and the music of all the sub-saharan
countries...ajabu sana! .... enda na baraka...

This show was A - Mazing! I can't say enough about it. The Carry Your Coffin song was so true. I can't think of a show that I enjoyed more. The singing and the dancing were beyond this world. Can anybody say Tony Award? It's got to happen. Thank you!
